I really want to help my alcoholic-junkie best friend, but I'm afraid she'll get mad if I confront her about her problem. What should I do?

Let her get mad. She needs help. If she gets mad, maybe it will make her think.

bring it up, then step back for a while - maybe it will get her thinking. i had to lose a job, that was my wake-up... everyone suffering from an addiction has the light turned on at some point, whether or not she does anything about it is up to her...

I met an alcoholic girl. She was incredible in bed. I mean amazing! I began to really like her outside the bedroom, but her drinking was bumming me out. I approached her and she disowned me forever more.

True Friends equal HONESTY. The real question is if the situation was in reverse would you want her to tell you, if you answer yes, TELL HER...

She will probably gety embarressed and stop hanging out with you... she knows what her problems are, she needs someone to tell her and lay it all out on the table. But you'll probably lose your friend at least for a while... maybe forever. Or she might cling to you through recovery and that sucks even worse. Have fun.

Do nothing! Do not get involved in her addiction! If she does not want to help herself then nobody on earth can "help" her! Start to withdraw from her and if she asks why, tell her that her addiction is driving a wedge between you!
