OP HERE: NOOOOO... All my friends had kiss somebody and told me that if I didn't know what I was doing it would be awful for the guy.. I was a young and stupid. I just feel so much guilt when I see him. I'd hate to think that I ruined him someway, somehow... As it is I am crying right now...

You are overreacting. He was 5. Probably doesn't remember it, and if he does, he just kissed a girl. An 11 year old girl kissing a 5 year old boy isn't abuse. It's just kids being kids.

10 or 11?? FORGET ABOUT IT!!! You were a child! Move on with your life already. Next time you see him, mention it casually and have a good laugh together, he probably feels awkward too, and would be relieved to get it in the open.

as long as you were not forcing him to kiss you then really it is no big deal....kids experiment and it's normal. what i am wondering though is were you ever a victim of sexual abuse? your reaction seems a extreme for a little thing like a kiss....maybe it represents guilt over something else that happened to you as a child?

OP here: ^ I just never wanted to repeat the abuse.... Although I never did more than kiss (and never would) the guilt for what I had done after what I have been through was (and still is) more than I can take... For the others i know that it is your duty to comment stupidities on a daily basis. I want to thank those who took the time to honestly help!

I kissed my brother when we were kids. We knew we were experimenting- probably 5 and six. Its funny but we've never mentioned it. He's my closest friend-my soul mate actually. Were both married with kids- and never even gave it a second thought. Don't beat yourself up- you were kids! and really its OK.

Um, it is fairly common for children to immitate what they have seen adults do. It was done without wanting to cause harm. Children themselves view their bodys as just a huge toy.I doubt you ruined his life....just harmless children kissing....
