Why can't any of the youth today keep their legs closed and save it for when they get married. There would be so many less bastard children out there and probably stronger lasting marriages. Seriously, you will regret giving piece after piece of yourself out to people that do not deserve you.

I assume this is a young person and this is going to turn into a relationship with no real commitment in the end. Hence the marriage comments. Also I think it important for a young person to consider the consequences of a unwanted pregnancy and the % of young fathers that actually stick around. Next, maybe this is not the "boys" first time, crabs or permanent unsightly warts anyone. Yummy. Luckily I never had to deal with this. Anyway, I am 25 with 4 kids that all belong to the same dad whom I have been married to for 7 yrs. Or children came 2 yrs after marriage. Good Luck families like ours are really rare today. What do you want to put your life into.

OP: how young is too young? I'm of age and mature enough to make my own decisions. I do believe sex is sacred, unfortunately I don't share your beliefs in having to wait until marriage.It's not like I'm whoring myself out to the world, chill out. It's ONE PERSON who means something extra.

1st comment - who waits till marriage anymore? i'm not promoting promiscuity, but a little life experience is a GOOD thing to take into marriage - please join us in this century, thanks. 3rd comment - i wouldn't recommend that anyone get married at 18, for most that's just too young and the majority of us have no clue what we want at that age. glad it worked out for you, but realize that you are the minority. OP - think about it, write about it, make sure that you're making the right decision - then go for it. :) hope it's awesome for you.

I love how everyone immediately thought she was too young. I am 25 years old, and just finally had my "first time." Not because I believe in waiting til marriage, but because I believe in waiting for the right person. Marriage now a days in just a show. I never want to have a wedding, but I do want to be with my man for the rest of my life. So who's to say the OP isn't in the same boat I am? Don't be so quick to judge someone else.
