I agree with ^. Why would you ever want to text your ex? Aren't they your ex? I think that if anyone/anything gives you the urge to text your ex, than obviously you're not over the ex. Perhaps this jackass just isn't living up to the image of your jackass ex, therefore you're treating him horribly and not even knowing it, thus causing him to react and you precieving him to be a jackass. It just sounds like you still want your ex and no one else will do.

But when he broke it off, she can only try to still be friends with him.
