I'm the OP, and I'm tired. I'm tired of giving my all to my marriage, while only getting a paycheck in return. Just because he earns the money doesn't mean I get to sit back and eat bonbons all day. I bust my ass to care for our little world we've created. So when he comes home, eats dinner in front of the tv, plays video games with the roommate the rest of the night, then decides he wants "happy couple time", I'm sorry. It doesn't work that way. I've played the merry little housewife part for years. And for the first 6, I enjoyed it. But this bullsh!t attitude he's gotten lately has got to go. High probability he's just an ass. Majority of men are. Communication can cure, or at least divert, his a** ****ry. Don't just go at him and start talkin though, cause you'll start in with "you don't do this" and "you should." These are both accusatory sentence stems from people who can't communicate effectively. Don't go in accusing someone, if you want their help in solving a problem. Just tell him how you feel, how you perceive the situation, and ask for his help in correcting the problem.
