Their brokeness is relative. See, if they had MORE money, they would take more vacations. thus, they are broke. Hey, maybe they see that you are shiftless because you will not work or can't keep a job, or have babies out of wedlock before you are financially capable of taking care of them. WOW! All of the previous comments were pretty assumtious. I work, have kept the same job for years, budget properly, am married, support my family within my means. I can relate to the OP, there are too many people out there who live outside their means and flaunt it only to cry and whine about how hard it is.
