You sound like a winner: wanting to leave instead of working through the bad times. Let's just forget how being raised in a single parent family with mom who has no real clue what relationships and commitment are all about will do to these kids. i am from the post above the last and i work in a crisis center for women. i have seen things like this happen. the man has the woman so scared to say anything for fear of retaliaation, she wants to leave but he has cut her away from her family and friends and she feals as if theres no way out. dont kid yourself my hall is full of women and children that have come from homes like this! not everyone lives in the perfect home were mom cooks and cleans and dad comes home at 530 and kisses his kids on the head and sits down ready to eat
