So ask yourself; how and why do I pick a husband and friend who could do such things to me? I think you need to learn to be more selective about the circle you hang around with. Not all of this is your husband's fault or your friend's fault. It is obvious that they had character flaws long before you met them. Stare in the mirror. You are, in part, a reflection of them.

I agree with the first comment. Perhaps the so-called "friend" acted the way they did because they knew you had slept with the husband in question.
