I agree. Parents are at fault. I raised my ex's two kids. When the daughter turned 15 my ex started letting her wear suggestive clothing. At 16 she was letting her lay on our couch with boys she knew a few months. I always made them get up. I tried to tell my ex that the daughter is too young and immature to know how to control her passions. Not to mention the boys she was with. It was a constant point of contention with me and her mother.It came to a point where I just said 'Fuck it". I divorced her without ever having a regret. I was making $68,000 a year. After the divorce my ex had to go on welfare. Six years later her daughter had a child out of wedlock.

I came out pregnant at 13. My mom and Dad were not around and I made some STUPID choices. I still thank my mom for being around when she took me to the abortion clinic. She realized that she wasn't there and changed. I realized how little I knew about everything and started listening. Was it tragic? Yes. Do I regret it NO. I am married with children and I know for a fact it was the right choice for me. Good luck!

This crap really pisses me off. At that age, my friends and myself only thought about food, sports, movies, games and keeping good grades. What is going on today? The father must be older and took advantage. I was over 20 before I even really thought about doing it. Kids do not have anything better to do or to think about, like their futures.

YES i do agree that there are a lot of teenagers that need to think of other things then stealing, drugs, parties and sex. but personally, i didn't plan to get pregnant. it just happened. and for the better.. i was on a horrible path. I think that if more people waited until they had their heads on right, which would be after school at least, there would not be so many screwed up people today. I waited until after college and have no regrets. I think if I got involved before my brain matured and my life settled, I would not be in such a good place as I am today.
