OP here. I WAS managing a gas station. Until I wrote a guy up for calling me a f***ing b**** and MY boss told me i was "over-reacting". Thats fine, she can get up early, drive on over in her caddy, and run the place, b/c I just took control of my life! My hubby is behind me all the way, and said to not worry about the pay cut, until I find a new job altogether. They are losing a good employee and I hope the f***ing place burns down after i'm gone. I would have just walked out, but to do so in this economy would be suicide.

^at least you have management experience to add to your resume! life is too short to waste it being miserable, and at some point you will look back at this experience and be thankful it was a catalyst to something even greater!

I know how you feel. I walked out on $140k a year, loafed 6 months, retired early at a big cut in income. No regrets in 5 years. Corporate America sucks, they destroy the American dream.

OP here. Any 25 year old who gives up every fri and sat night of their life to get up at 4 am and go open a f***ing convenience store is a decent manager. That is all. Besides, I got tired of being called "hormonal" every time I asked anyone to do ANYTHING.
