I can relate to what you are saying. Pets love us unconditionally. Glad you have this sweet pet. Try to get out if you can and enjoy nature...perhaps meet new people. I know I am alone most of the time and my dog is absolutely my best friend. But I do stick my head out now and then to talk to others. God bless you and your precious pet. Take care.

Aw, my grandfather, Pop-Pop, was my hero and my favorite person on this planet. Now, he is my favorite person not on this planet. I'm sure your grandkids miss you and love you. Life just is so hectic these days. I wish we could go back to the traditional family, but instead everyone is pretty burned out working and taking care of the home/family. But surely, you are so important to them!

If you are older...do you realize how much your comments could make on this "secrets" sight alone. We younger people need to hear from older people who are true "Survivors".Please share some with us. We care and want to hear your story. If your heart if full of love for that dog....you've got to have a good heart. Many in this community do really really care. Some make stupid comments....Don't let them bother you. Talk to us. To the post above mine, your Pop-Pop sounds like he was wonderful. What a blessing that you still think of him with love.Good for you. And I agree that so many these days are just burned out from work and stress. I just got home from work. I have come to enjoy this site more than any other. It makes me feel a part of a bigger community.That makes a difference to me. Perhaps all the caring people on this site can help you work through your issue. Just tell us enough so that we can better understand. It is amazing, there are even Doctors who write in this forum.
