Don't envy them. What's on their outside is in direct contradiction to their insides. The women sense this and try to make their hurt inner childs feel better, not realizing that the alphas will do everything to hide that hurt child from them as well.

I got a few "alpha males" working for me. Highlight of their existence was high school. Stories of athletic exploits from long ago, fishing and camping stories with their "buddies" are getting stale and redundant. Renters, ex-felons with alcoholic GFs... You envy, what? Oh, they're good pool players!

I like the alpha male types but thats not who I ended up with. The guy I'm with is tough and independent but he has a way about him that is real. He has feelings and lets it show without fear or what others think.

I'm a landlord and occasionally rent to alpha male types. Always gives me a smile to kick them out on their asses when they screw up, which they always do. I pity and despise the kind of woman who still likes those guys at 40. As far as I'm concerned she and her little monsters to be can join him on the street.

I have dated only alpha males my entire life, and never been truly happy with any relationship I've ever had. Until I met my current boyfriend, who is definitely NOT alpha. Let me just say, I am more happy with my "beta male" than I ever was with any of the alphas, no matter how appealing they may be. Even after I met him and knew I liked him a lot, it took me a little while to make the mental switch over to no longer wanting or needing the alpha type. Boy am I glad I did! I feel so stupid for not seeing this way all my life!
