Telling my family was one of the most difficult things I've ever done, the worst was not beling believed when I was 12.... the people responsible were never punished. That made it harder to tell my husband the details....though once I finally did, he understood me a lot better.

OP here...for those who were abused like me, and are afraid of telling someone for fear of how they will react.... the above post "143" is from my husband. He figured out that this is my post, and it's our special way of saying "I love you." He gives me the support I need to make it through the nightmares that haunt me, and he joned the same organization to not only help abused children, but to also help me heal and understand me better in my struggles to fight the demons of my past.
