OP: Yes we met again after 27 years on an online dating site. Small world. No I am not going to let go of my family. They just never thought I would fall in love and were hoping I would just be alone the rest of my life. So I am bracing for their very closed minded reactions. Took me a long time to learn it isn't about getting everyone's approval. As for 2^^ that is a generalized stereotype that one could place on straight people too. Promiscuity is rampant in the straight community too. Some people are unable to be monogamous. Myself and my man happen to be the monogamous type. (He was married to a woman for years and very monogamous) We all hope that the person we love is faithful but really can we all know they are 100%? Of course not. We take that risk when we choose to love someone. It?s part of the deal.
