What in the world ? So the only reason you haven't committed suicide is that you are in debt? I wouldn't think that would be in itself a reason to live. Tell us what is really going on. Please tell why you have been sad for 13 years ? I have recently felt that way because of a very sad family situation but am trying my best to pull out of it. When I was in bad shape, finances were never considered. I was just hurting in my heart and soul and wanting to escape. This website helped me. Let us help you. But you've got to tell what is really wrong. The tel numbers they provide are also excellent sources with people who care.

I'm only twenty. My father sold my SSN number when I was 12, and I've been mounting up debt like mad from people stealing my identity. I just don't want to leave my family with that debt.

This can be fixed. There is a debt counseling number on this site. Call the Social Security office where you live and tell them what happened. Don't worry about protecting your dad and those who ran the cards up. Call and cancel each card and tell them what happened. They have a department that can work on it for you. I have gone through a very similar experience. It took about 2 weeks and things straightened out. THEN, you've got to get away from the people who are hurting you and using you. GOOD LUCK.
