I dispise my wife. Once an addict, always an addict. I hate how she manipulated me for her addiction. She lied so many times I can't believe anything she says.

Then you need to leave her. So many people with addictions are often narcicists and psychopaths and even when they seem to get away from their addictions, it can be seen that what they are really addicted to is seeing themself as the center of the universe.

Yeah, there's this crazy new fix for shitty marriages. I think it's called "divorce".

There is an x husband of mine saying the exact same thing. I'm not that person anymore and think about the pain I caused him everyday. I was very sick. I like the universe much more When it doesn't revolve around me.

My ex wife is like this and she was not an addict. She had a handicap that left her feeling like a life-long victim. Man, what a selfish b**** she was. I am just glad we never had kids.I think the key to self fulfillment is giving your free time to strangers. I swear, I do not know what it is, but when I volunteer my time, it leaves me with a nice feeling about myself.

Once you completely evolve from a husband into a "caretaker", its hard to break away from that role. Not surprisingly, she's been able to do a lot more for herself since I left. It's hard to break that habit, but you gotta try it. YOU deserve to have a life.

My husband is an addict also. After jail, rehab, tears, and begging I'm filing for divorce in January. You deserve more than she will be able to give you as long as she is an addict...it's a sad, lonely life.
