She would not have to be passive controlling if she felt safe and free to active in controlling and makking decisions that affect her life. So many men STILL act as if their way is the only right way of doing things instead trusting that women are smart and capable enough to share in the control mutually.

Just like women to keep blaming men even though women are making progress and winning over men in nearly every area of life now. Check colleges and universities, more women in classes, more women in graduate schools on every level except computer science . That means more women doctors, lawyers, Phds, MBAs everything. How much more do women need before they STOP blaming men?

I hear you brother. Its unfortunate, but true. Apparently, it used to be this way, but the other way around; however, now that the law has overcompensated in trying to make things fair, its way out of balance. I'm even wondering if equality in a marriage is even possible anymore. Materialism is to blame. Anyone willing to argue this either doesn't know what's going on or they "resemble" this behavior.I could give two "shits" about status or keeping appearances.
