^you are talking out of your aSs.....no pun intended. that type of cancer is VERY aggressive and metastasis quickly throughout the body. without very early detection and treatment the chances of survival are slim to none. i also disagree about telling the family. if it were me i would wait as long as i possibly could before it told them. watching someone waste away is very hard and i would want to put my family through as little of that nonsense as i possibly could. say your goodbyes through actions op and make the time you have with your loved ones count!

I feel so sad for you. I don't know if I would tell my family or not if I got cancer. I saw what my friend went through with all the chemo and radiation and bloodwork. And it bought her maybe 3 years. God bless you as you work thru this and decide what to do. Also, if you have a loving and supportive family, they would want to know.
