my husband complained that his babys momma used to do that and i thought that he had to be exaggerating b/c who in their right mind would? apparently he wasnt, and there are more of them like that out there. she is nowhere close to being mexican or from anywhere foreign - completely american, several several generations.

I suspect that my boyfriend's family does that, but I've never actually *investigated* to see if it were true (maybe foundation? IDFK). They are hispanic, from a very poor country, but his mom has Coach purses and Uggs and name brands up the ass, so I don't think she's unaware of the marvel of plumbing. . . the husband, not so sure lol. Glad to know others have the same problem. (Kind of)

my stepdad made us do that, and it was disgusting, but he was a hick, even built himself an outhouse, wouldn't let us turn the water heater on, and would use only the fireplace to heat the whole damn house, I left when I turned 17. Also, he wouldn't let us turn the heat on in his ramshackle pickup truck, and that was free!!

I worked in a warehouse where Vietnamese women did this also. It was nassy.
We all had a meeting because of it, and told them it was alright to flush it down, our systems could handle it. Even though they said they understood, they would`nt do it.
Or use Kleenex. Just pick n pick with bare fingers. We`d find boogers on the walls, and on product. So gross.

Actually, folks, this is normal in the country where the plumbing goes into a septic sytem that is about 50 or 60 years old. Simply empty the trash and it won't smell. Far cheaper than a plumber for a stopped up septic system.

I feel your pain, i make excuses not to go there i have banned my unborn child from being left with them unsupervised and i correct them when they tell my wanderful boyfriend he is useless, he loves me and he is going to be a fantastic father but yet they see tot think he will fail and end up going back to them ... its not going to happen because i know how to treat my man with the respect he deserves.
