What a profound thought. Change is the only thing in this life that is guaranteed. As we age, we change and grow and you are right, even the ones we are around sometimes outgrow us or we outgrow them, some remain stuck. I always think it is important to remain limber like a tree that can bend with the wind and go through the different seasons. It is when we grow brittle and bitter that we break.

Wrong, its when you stand strong in the wind you won't break BUT if you blow which ever way the wind is you have no stability. There are to many of those kind in the world today that's why forever is like trying to catch the wind.

OP here.. The post is simple really it's meaning.. Instead of a career out in the world you stay home to raise children, instead of living somewheres sunny and warm you live close to family, instead of traveling your caring for one who can't care for themselves no longer and yes even including those who you believed in only to realize the image they displayed was false. Forever doesn't exist life happens and if you think/believe your in control of yours then it's purely selfishness that's controlling you! We have no control not even with whom we love or if they love us back. the only control we have is who we are not with what life throws our way. I was simply thinking out loud, well in writing.

^Life is what happens when you're busy making plans then? Kinda. It's also the cumulative result of the decisions you've made. You're just focusing on the change element, which isn't good or bad, just nowhere near the entire picture. Forever does exist. It's a construct waiting to be defined and defined everyday.

I was never given a choice and the only one I could have made, For me wasn't an option! Speaking of the bigger picture you almost have to step into another's skin to see it. nothings forever in this life, everything has an exasperation date. Sometimes change isn't good or bad then sometimes it can be good but you can't tell me that change can't be bad!! It can be very bad WE LIVE IN AN EVIL WORD!!! Just because one may find a way to make it to the other side it will never change ones prospective that evil played its hand and there are those things that its impact will have you feeling the affects for a life time. 4^ Wow. I really don't need to know about the choices you've made to make a comment on your words. You should take that into consideration, or not, up to you. I don't have to step into your skin to see a bigger picture, just out of my own, same as you. We DO NOT live in an evil world. We live in a world where a lot of PEOPLE make evil choices. When I said your focus on change was not good or bad, I meant it is not necessarily good or bad (i.e. could go either way). Now, for a side note on forever...your words "impact will have you feeling the effects for a lifetime." Forever does exist. Always has, nyuk nyuk. ^ So I'm guessing you have a frame of reference that extends beyond a lifetime? I dabble in many worlds actually, having a couple of friends that have always been together in some form or another, even killed each other in one life. Forever exists.
