The only person I slept with is the soldier I married at the end of my first year in service. He was Polish-Irish. And to tell you more - I worked as a defense contractor for 15 yrs after my initial 3 yrs on active duty (I spent the next 21 in the Army Reserve). I lovedlovedloved defense contracting - only got out of it because motherhood is more fun and the jobs faded away around this town.

There was such a deep vacuum left after the Soviets moved out it decended into civil war. By the way, their support goes back to the the last part of the 1970s. Anyway, the reason the CIA were arming those people is because the Soviets invaded Afghanistan, assassinated the sitting president and installed a Communist government.
