Does she get out of the house and do things for herself? if not , i suggest that she try that, try learning new things to help her heal and show her that she is worth being happy. Her self esteem is probably fairly low, most depressed people from my experience tend to feel they are worthless. help make her feel like she is worth something, help her get out and try new things that ignite those brain chemicals that cause happiness. Giving up on her is probably the worst thing you can do, there are so many other options out there!Much love ~

First off, deal with the core issue. You have to get to the bottom of it even if she doesn't remember it. Get her with a psychologist now on a weekly basis and get her TALKING. Encourgae her to journal anything and everything she feels. Let her get angry. Encourage her to get angry because all depression is is anger turned in on the self and burried. Get her off the meds. The meds only screw you up more and keep you from healing the core issue. You can do this OP. You love your wife, it's likely you have not found the right kind of help. Try the things above. Don't give up on her or you and your dream of a life with her.
