I am sad to read your post, showing hope and hoping things will be different. Once trust is lost....once you have been cheated on or decieved, that doubt will always be in your heart and in your head. I let go of a man who I dearly loved and wanted to stay with. WHY ? Because he lied once, then promised never to lie again...."You know the rest of the story." Yes, I miss him but not the feeling of wondering if his words and actions were true or hiding something. When one lies about one thing, they are most comfortable lying and will pretty much lie about even the tiny things. And then whole veil of mistrust turns into resentment. ^3 I have known plenty of this situation through my adult years also, and I have met couples that have made it. Believe it or not more people than you think have made it through something similar. They just don't advertise it. If 2 people have been married for 3 decades believe me when I tell you that they have been and weather the storm. you people need to realize that this world is a learning experience.
