The chickens came first. Then they laid eggs and made more. Hello.. basic biology. A single cell didn't just form into a lizard in the water, scooted up on land and decided to change forms.. LOL Just like humans did not come from monkeys! Not ONE monkey has evolved in all these centuries. If evolution was real it would have continued to happen to other apes over the years.

The egg came first. Chickens evolved from another bird. Those other birds certainly laid eggs. The first mutation that created the chicken was long after eggs had already been the norm.
