If this is for real, evaluate what is happening in your waking life. When I was going through a divorce I was having dreams of suddenly realizing I was naked in public. All of a sudden I would look down and have no clothes on and then I would panic in my dream. My psychology professor said it was because my divorce was making me feel vulnerable.

I don't know, maybe I've been living in a vacuum, but I haven't heard that horrible n word in years, then all of a sudden here it is again. Could it be that the word actually identifies the behavior of ANY person and not the color of that person's skin? what is happening in those dreams? is it the actual black elepahnt people that are scaring you? what they are doing? or some other aspect of the dream that scares you and you just remember the black elephant poeple because they are unusual and the largest thing in the dream. write down, perhaps, what goes on in the dreams when you first wake up and then compare them after a couple of days. see if there is anything else that is similar. maybe go to a few dream websites that explain what certain things usually mean in dreams.I wish you all the best in sorting out what is bothering you, and hope this passes soon for you. whatever it is in your real life that is causing these dreams to occur.
