There is a degree of truth to that. I can't say I cannot love anymore. It certainly is not the kind of love I could once give. But, that is how life jades us as we grow older.

Usually I don't bother,foolishness can't comprehend wisdom but here goes nothing! No one gets to choose who their heart loves. Seems like you're saying all love but self love is unworthy of the name, which is just as selfish as loving another could be. In any case, it's a feeling, and it really makes little sense to analyze feelings in the general sense. You need a specific instance to perform analysis.
