This picture is awesome. Where is this place ? I also find it difficult to find true friends. But I think I put a wall up because I am afraid to be lied to again. Some say I am too honest. How do we ever know someone is real ? The test of time and the test of character, decency and kindness is the only way I know. Good luck to you. In fact good luck to all of us who are lonely but won't really reach out because we are scared.

I moved away for 20 years. When I returned I found it hard to get old acquainces to bring me back into the circle. So I do things alone for the most part and do not mind all that much.

The post isn't about "friends" I have awesome friends and they remind me every day how much they love me, I'm truly blessed with a cherished rare gift. It's more about those who use the word friend to casually instead of the proper word acquaintance.
