I believe with all my heart that Jesus is the son of God. Born of a virgin and died on the cross for atonement for my sins and the sin of all mankind and rose again three days layer to ascend to the Father. If you are right and I am wrong, I've lost nothing. But if I am right and you are wrong, you have lost everything. Forever is a very long time to spend in Hell if you are wrong. Go ahead and attack me and call me names. But we won't know for sure till we die. If I'm right, I know where I'm going, and I know where you are going. If you are right, we just rot and it doesn't matter. Who is smarter here?

1 up think about what you are saying. If you are wrong you have lost nothing. If you are right I have lost everything. So, the alternative is Hell, which is why you follow your religion. You are scared of what might happen in the afterlife. If I have to get to heaven my slaving myself to someone so arrogant, who claims he loves me as his child, but would allow me to be tortured for ever and ever, ask yourself if you would do that to your child under the same circumstance. You would not. Neither would I. That is one reason why I think religion is nonsense.

Christians are simply delusional. We get one life, let's make it the best we can, let's make our world the best it can be. Instead of building a church build a school, hospital or housing. Religion took hold when the literacy rate was almost non-existent and was most certainly fear based. Along with literacy came logic and reasoning, it's time to take a long hard look at this 'sacred' institution. I was once a christian, but always struggled with the entire concept, until one day I finally realized that extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof and there simply is none for religion. While you may think that would lead to a hedonistic lifestyle, it's quite the opposite. We are responsible for our own morality, no one is looking down at us keeping a tally. When we die we simply rot away in a box in the ground and it is over, there is no 'redemption', no heaven or hell, no awareness whatsoever. You are not 'at peace', you are nothing in the broadest sense of the word. Religion is the biggest hoax ever perpetuated upon mankind.
