2 up. Hey, dickhead. have you thought that maybe HE respects his wife? What do all the other men have to do with his household. Op, I knew a Mr. Mom years ago. His kid played on my kid's ball team. I can't remember what he once did for a living. His wife was a successful attorney. He was a normal, masculine guy who loved hanging out with his kids all day. If you can swing it, go for it. But make sure she is a solid, supportive wife. We have been conditioned to see the man as the bread winnerin this country. So, you may want to do some soul searching to see if your wife is the type who can carry the family without resentment. I would venture to say that there probably not too many women like that. I mean, after all, most are gold diggers; We want nookie. They want money. They prostitute themselves to us and we get what we want.

ugh i have a house husband while i work in the field and he takes care of the kids but i still do all the house chores, which in turn makes me the "bad wife" because i nag him about doing them!

3 up Where in the heck were you back in the day when I was looking for a wife? If you could make a decent living for the whole family I would gladly clean the house, wash the clothes, clean the bathroom, have a different meal waiting for you everyday after work, and help with the kids homework. Hell, I would have even had your bath water run for you too. Bubbles included. Shoot, I would love to have a job like that and be around my little ones all the time.

My husband says he would LOVe to do what I do, but yet he can't. When I had a baby he "helped" out and said he was going to do everything I have 2 other kids also and he was doing good for about 3 days then it went all bad, guys can't do it even if they think they can.
