As hard as I try to figure it out, the only conclusion I come to about capitalism it that it is simply steeped in the primal human instinct to survive. That survival is the foundation set in greed. I do not understand Christian Capitalism. It is a contridiction in terms. In one hand Christians teach that it is better to give than receive. In the other it takes away. If the love of money(i.e., Capitalism) is the root of all evil, and Capitalism is all about money, then Capitalism is evil.

^ Allow a little help. Capitalism focuses on profit, not human needs. This can be seen nowhere more clearly than with technology. Technology is a neutral thing, can cause harm and can cause good, sometimes at the same time. Technological progress under capitalism is not designed to benefit people, though it may at times. It is designed to benefit profit, most often through owners using technology to make people, and the work of people, redundant. Think about it some more.

I never got a job from a poor person. Weird thing is, the people who pay my wages have money of their own and are WILLING to hire me to earn some of that out of their bank accounts. ^OPEC has been shown time and again to be irrelevant. They cannot enforce production quotas on members, or even monitor member production. You might educate yourself on the fact that most OPEC fields are run in consortium with the major oil corporations. Exxon doesn't profit billions a quarter from American fields.
