ok internet attorneys, answer this one. My g/f (mary Smith) used my computer and had her name as one of the nics. Then we split up. Now she is married and her name is Mary Jones, no longer Mary Smith. I occasionally use the Mary Smith nic, not claiming to be her, and NOT to defraud anyone either. I just use it in chat room to renain annonymous....is that a crime in your opinion?

I am not an attorney, but I would say, no, it is not a crime. But why would you want to? Just take 10 minutes and choose another name if you want to be annonymous. Do you use a woman's name in chat rooms so you can flirt with guys?
