i'd give anything about NOW to be ALL alone, hubby has lost his job, and hasn't found a new one yet.son cant find a job with his new diploma from U of M. I'm a waitress and do and give all i can for people, and would SO enjoy to come home just ONE day to an empty house instead of roomful of people waiting for ME to make dinner.

1 up That is your fault. You have allowe dyourself to become a pawn to those in your household. Do as my friend's wife did. Write down all you do around your house. Set a schedule of what you want others to do around the house and stick to it. Then write a huge ON STRIKE sign in your livingroom and refuse to lift your finger until you get what you want.

yeah your right i have. I've always done everything in my home as i was the one working the least for MANY years. My child has not lived at home for the past 4 years. And i've always completely tended to all of my husbands needs. My husband will not allow me to put any wants/needs on our son, he says "Do it myself, or deal with it NOT being done" but, THEY are NOT gonna do anything that has been *MY JOB* up till now. SO im kinda STUCK in 1950.
