It's not a crime but it does create problems. The kind of problems it creates is it enables people to be fake and it deceives others. And not everyone online misrepresents themselves online. Some of us are authentic in our real world lives as well as our online lives.

My brother behaved the same way on facebook. So I deleted him from my page, and left facebook to get away from that superficial bullshit. They were the best two decisions I made last year.
