*she died suddenly of a twisted stomach, i guess its something that happens to large dogs (she was a newfie/lab mix). as far as this being a fake post i wish with all of my heart it was. i wish she was still here with me so i could tickle her hairy toes. i wish she could still run down the pasture lane faster than ever and come back covered in burdocks. i wish i could still watch her lick the sticky off my baby boy after supper. i wish i still had to wrestle with her for my half of the bed. its just not fair, she was only 3 years old and it should not have been her time. god i miss her....burying her was the hardest thing i have ever had to do.

I am sorry you lost your dog. I am terrified of losing my girl someday too. :( Maybe when you are ready..perhaps soon... you can get a new shelter dog to start new memories! Thank you for being one of those people who value the life of animals, just as we all should. :)

I am so sorry for your loss! I had to put my 6 year old min-pin to sleep last Easter. I never saw it coming and it was horrific. I still get emotional whenever I think of him. Best of luck in dealing with your sorrow!
