Do you know how abortions work? Why not just counsel the women about keeping them, and set up in house adoption with parents looking to adopt? I am not a fan of abortions either, but you can't sneak one over, it's kind of impossible.

I'm not sure I understand your secret. You are obviously terminating a pregnancy when you have an abortion so I don't understand the "act like we kill them but we don't" statement. Anyways, I think abortion does save lives. It prevent children from being born into neglectful, abusive, families. There seems to be an increase of deadbeat parents these days. I think it's better for a child to be aborted than face being abused, raped, or murdered by their own parents. Maybe more women would abort their children if it wasn't still considered taboo.

Is there a reason this was turned into something it isn't? The OP said they want to save babies. It is a desire I share. Obviously it is just something we would like to do but know we can't because if someone wants to kill their pre-born, they're going to do it. The gov't doesn't want anyone educated because this is a "political" thing. It should have never left the bedroom, then it would have never been the kind of explosion it is today....What I find fascinating is we will make every effort to save a baby that is born premature, and will kill babies in the womb...It doesn't make sense to me. I adore my children and can't imagine ever losing them to the horrors of abortion. If you ever thought abortion was a simple "procedure" go watch one get done where a flouroscope is in use....

Well, I guess if everyone is heavily against abortion, there is always adoption. You could give your newborn baby to a loving foster home where they will be properly beaten, starved, and raped by their older brothers and sisters. ^ That's what happened to me. My mom didnt find out she was pregnant with me til 6 months in so at that point shw couldnt abort. She couldnt take care of me and i ended up in foster care. I think all the things that happened to me as a child effect me even worse as an adult. I believe in god and in the foster home, i secretly prayed every night. Praying did help make me feel safe or at least calm me and still does. Im still a train wreck though. Cant keep a job, terrified of the world, and i might end up homeless. Ma

The Boson-Higgs particle is the smallest something, and some scientists are looking for confirmation that nothing could be smaller now, via the Large Hadron Reactor.
