Yeah the comments are really sparse lately. Still disagree with the removal aspect. If you want stupid comments unseen, why don't you do what some other websites do, which is rate the comment thumbs up or thumbs down. Too many thumbs down will hide the comment, but viewers can still click the view the comment if they want. That would be a much better compromise.
