^they accused us of of having a grow house. then when they didnt find any pot plants they accused my husband of using his beer making equipment to make meth because they found a packet of corn sugar tablets inside of a baggie that he used to carbonate his beer. they took our sump pump, my hot towel warmer, my cell phone, all my husbands beer making stuff....the list of stuff they "confiscated" was INSANE. and then they tried to charge me with felony manufacturing and we had to pay thousands of dollars to a lawyer to get our stuff back for a simple misdemeanor possession charge. i had a BAG OF WEED. and while it may have not been legal, i dont think that gives them the right to steal all of my things. then when i wouldnt admit to having a grow house or meth lab (which i didnt have in the first place) they told me they were going to toss me house and took everything in it and smashed it, threw it on the ground, they even took the things out of my fridge and threw it all over my living room carpet. does that sound even remotely okay? what the FUCK is wrong with our country? it was a BAG OF WEED that was for personal use. i pray to god this never happens to anyone else. the patriot act has given our government the right to do ANYTHING they want to for ANY reason with no repercussions. the people "protecting" us might as well be the gestapo :(

my laywer said they easily spend upwards of $40,000 on the whole bust....for a bag of pot! i wasnt selling drugs to little kids on a school corner, i was sitting in my own home minding my own damn business using marijuana to treat my anxiety disorder. the next thing i knew they had me in a cell for 6 hours being "detained" before they even started to interrogate me. they dont even have to read you your miranda rights anymore. they can hold you for as long as they want without question. you have no right to counsel at that point because you have not been formally arrested so they refused me my right to speak with an attorney. and the kicker? because i wasnt willing to put MY LIFE in danger by going on 9 separate undercover wire tapped drug deals for them the DA decided that i didnt cooperate with them "enough" which is why he threw in the felony charges which were obviously not even warranted in this case. how do you manufacture pot when you are not even growing it? they can do ANYTHING they want to. it doesnt even have to be legal. they are within full rights of the law and there are no repercussions for them. people who think we are living in a "free" country are crazy...unless you consider a government being able to completely control your every move free.

Wanna get out of a traffic ticket? Try this next time and see how it works. i got out of tickets my last two times. When you are pulled over place your licence or wallet on the dash in front of the steering wheel. Then put your hands on the 11:00 and 1:00 positions. Then wait. If it is at night turn on your interior light before the cop approaches and do what i said with your licence and hands.I agree with what the person said about the patriot act. It has clearly destroyed many liberties in America.

a man who my husband worked with had his house raided because his 12 year old son was secretly looking at porn and a pop up cookie for some underage stuff came up and even though he clicked the x of the cookie it went to some anti-child porn center. long story short within hours the anti-child porn task force had the house surrounded, beat down the door, put a gun to his mom's head, searched and destroyed the house and confiscated two computers from the home. then they detained her in a holding cell for 10 hours while they searched the computers. they didnt find anything other than the proof that a cookie had popped up for 6 seconds. 6 seconds people, and they were able to do all that. between the computers which came back in pieces and the broken door it cost them 3,000 to replace everything. which the cops did not reimburse them for. that is some scary shit!
