MANY women have this problem. I know, I trained to be an electrologist, and as a student I worked on MANY. If performed properly, the hair removal is permanent.
Go to your doctor and get a prescription for "EMLA" (a topical anesthetic) and, if possible, an analgesic. Don't drink caffeine before your appointment.

I shave my chin everyday too. It's no big deal. But then, I'm a guy. It's really no big deal for you either, baby. It's just a little hair. There are lots of women with a little more hair growth than they like. You can get it taken care of, if you want, but it's not a turn-off to a real man. We don't focus on stuff like that.

When I worked at a Fashion Corp, there were TONS of hot gorgeous women who were really famous models who had to shave everyday as well. You are not alone! IT IS NORMAL!
