If you believed in God at one point in your life, why did you turn away? God has never left your side nor will he ever. I am sure your family knows to some point. You can not hide not being a believer. Its all seen in your fruits, what ae you producing, and what it is in your life. If u hav lost ur faith or not if ur family truly loves you, they will still be praying for you. God is real lovely and in due time All will see. Seeing is not believing. Having faith is believing. Living for God is a process, things do not come right then and their. Show ur faithfulness, trust, and believe in God and what his word says. the devil uses half truths and the rest is lies. All he has to do is get you to hav any doubt, worry, fear, confussion, and all it takes is that one thought. Then you start to ponder on it, ponder more, and then he has got you. Think about it. Have you ever had a thought that was so stupid or silly, u thought yeah right and pushed it from your mind. Did you stop thiking about it? Then other times u get a thought in ur mind but u just cant let it go who do u spppose it putting those thoughts their? People just shut out God when all he wants to do is bless us, love us, and care for us. But people will put all their faith into Music roll models or actors. When they r no better then us normal people or they are worse then us. We will believe what the news says, magazines say, and gossip any day of the week. But as soon as somone says God/Religion/Faith every one freaks. I am sorry you do not believe any more. Myabe you should get deep into the root and find out why.

Pre-programmed religions are for people who are unable to think for themselves. There is not a whit of proof that any type of 'god' exists, or that if one did, that 'it' would require 'worship.' If you think it would make your folks feel bad, maybe it is best you don't tell them, but if push came to shove (if they demanded you accompany them to church, etc.) I would drop the bomb on them, and to hell with their feelings.

I have never stopped believing in God. I have just stopped believing in the church, any church. It all became a huge life or death bet your immortal soul sales pitch to me. Then the plate would come around and guilt you into throwing in money. People in church are extremely sanctimonious and self righteous. Everyone puts on this next best thing to Christ image, I couldn't stand it. I knew that I was a sinner and wondered how all these other non-sinners were making it happen. Add that to the fact that all my sins were magically forgiven with the wave of a hand, stale wine and a wafer, and some organ music, and I knew that I was pretty much damned to hell. Im sure there are many out there saying if you believe you will be forgiven. But let's not forget that little thing called repentence, a major requirement. That means you don't repeat your sins. After being forgiven for the same sin 1000 times I decided it was just easier to forgive myself. By the way, why would god want to punish someone for all eternity, isn't that just a huge waste of resources. Why not just give em a meta-lobotamy and have them wash the kingdom's floors or something?

I do not believe in heaven or hell as it is told in the bible. I also don't believe in J.Christ is our saviour.I can't tell my family either.I have research the bible and believe it's all fairytales.I feel sorry for my family that they are so close-minded and not smart enough to research religion, but I guess if it helps them through life...I don't believe in anything, that makes me stronger than you think

We all deal with evil within.We are unable and many times unwilling to do what is right. Do you really think that there will not be a reckoning? There is a God and he is just. How will you escape his justice? Looking at all the incredible natural, living technology on the earth, how can you honestly say there is no God? There is truly no excuse for denial.
