im sorry to hear that. i am a lesbian and i know how hard it is for my parents to deal with it, just know that no matter what they still love you more than anything and remember that they were brought up differently than our generation, also they are just HOPING that you are confused, no parents want their child to be gay but oh well, it happens.

if they don't accept you for who you are, don't let it discourage you from being open. Its your life, not theirs.

I'm a lesbian too, and I have yet to tell my mom or dad. My dad would completely kill me. My mom, I don't know how she would react. My whole family knows except for them. My grama doesn't believe me, she thinks it's another way for me to get attention. Trust yourself, you are who you are. And also, like the above commenter, the photo really symbolizes what you mean.

You don't want to live like this. Get help & rid yourself of these evil thoughts & desires. Have your hormone levels checked...I'd be willing to bet you have a hormone imbalance. I'm sorry, I'm not politically correct, but someone has to say it.

OP - listen to the posters that gave you encouragement. They know of what they speak. You do not get to choose your sexual orientation, nor should you. As the father of a bisexual girl, I have never passed judgement. It may not be my way, but it is hers. I accept that. As long as her partner is loving and caring and does not abuse her, I'm fine and accept her partner into my family. If ANY partner is abusive, male or female, they answer to me. That I do not accept.

I never have come out to any of my siblings or to my late parents. It was just so much easier that way. They were real "fifties" people, and much of their life centered around the parish, etc. They have always been a wonderful family to me, and there was no point to making them deal with my sexuality. I have a lesbian friend and we are "cover" for each other's business dinners, parties, and family invities. In our small city, it works for us, and that's what matters! Good lcuk!
