I have said this so many times - I am usually very pessimistic - If something good happens then GREAT - Like most others have said "at least I wont be let down" if it doesn't.

i read somewhere that a true optimist is someone who gets up everyday Knowing the world sucks, but is determined to deal with it anyway, while a true pessimist is someone who refuses to deal with the reality (that the world sucks), and spends everyday dissapointed. so by that theory, you really are an optimist! Me too!
