Sometimes I envy pets for not having to ever be forced to see their parents again. If I were brave enough, I'd turn my back and never look back. Start fresh, without them pulling me down with their dysfunctions and complete lack of guidance and support. Just unburden my load of them, and fly free as a bird in the sky. But, that is easier said than done, isn't it?

Mom had it normalized in her life therefore she was able to condone it in her children's. Break the chain, expose the perv. If the statute of limitations has not run out, put him in jail so he'll think twice before affending again. If the punishment really fit the crime those type of offenders would be spending life sentences, the victims carry it through their whole lives. Get therapy and you will have a place to have your feelings validated and begin to heal.
