You're going to have to work on a solution one bit at a time. Start with weight-try eating reasonably and just take walks. Do what you can and make improvements. Try some form of self help (book, counseling or support group) to identify why you let your life become the way it has. No real change will be made until you believe you are worth saving.
I lost 50+ pounds in less than one year and left a looooooong relationship because I realized I needed to live on my own, clear my head of old baggage and find out who I really was (sounds cheesy.) It changed my entire life and 3 years later I am happy, more confident and know what I want and need out of life. YOU CAN CHANGE. And you can start today. A life is about a series of choices you've made. Changing that life is as easy as changing the choices you make (eating better, being active) and the reasons you make them (self esteem, the belief you are worth more than this.)

I was in the same situation myself..low self esteem and extremly over weight. I was married to an abusive older man. I had gastric bypass exercised and came to realize I deserved better as a person. I divorced him with in a year I have met a kind gentle man who adores me. And most important is so great with my child. You can do better! Just beleive in yourself.You deserve to be happy! Good luck!

the problem is not being fat, it is not loving yourself enough to know you deserve happiness. there are people who are attracted to all types of body styles. Check out NAFTA or some other place like that. You need confidence, you deserve happiness. Don't get hung up on the need for a man. You can take care of yourself.

You do realize that this is a horrible situation and that you are bringing the both of you down ALOT, right? Being alone is alot better than being with someone you claim to hate. If you divorce him, you'll at least give yourself a good flying chance of finding someone else for you. Your now husband and you will realize the true situation your in and possible gain some kind of respect for each other.
