If you are not being safe and honest with him, that is no different than a malicious attack. Either tell him or NO sex, period. If he loves you, he will understand and work something out with you. If he leaves, he did not love you.

Poetic, OP, but hard to discern your true condition and feelings. If you are actually exposing another to this potentially lethal virus without their knowledge and consent, then I would conclude that you may have a need for them, but what you feel cannot be love. No definition of love fits that scenario. For you and everyone else struggling with HIV, I will say a prayer.
