Unfortunately, until you correct the problems that caused you to be and stay in an abusive relationship, parts of that dynamic will continue in other relationships--even if your parter is non-abusive. You need to first work on yourself, then trust that when you truly agree that you deserve good love it will find you!

I know that feeling. We've all been hurt. But unless we keep sticking our head out and open to someone new, we will always feel alone. Most of us don't want to be alone. We are just afraid of rejection or being lied to or hurt. But meeting someone and feeling that MAGIC even if only for a while.....is worth the risk.
