Don't worry. One day you'll grow up and listen to something a bit more sophisticated than so-called 'metal' (what a juvenile term that is!). Until then, continue to wear your hair long, head-bang till your neck hurts as you damage you ears with noise, and act like a rebel without a cause, and a generally like a dick head. You'll get over it one day. (I used to be into that scene myself, so I know what I'm talking about. Most of us grew up though).

I saw the original Black Sabbath when I was 14 and that was it, I HATED anything but metal for years. Now I like hard rock, Country, Latin and Miles Davis type jazz. Weird how tastes change as you age.

I'm a 41 yr. old female,and 90% of my music is metal,love it.Sometimes I listen to gangster rap,eminem,and classic rock.Love slipknot,soad,disturbed etc.Friends my age and older listen to country,and classic rock,I always have to change the radio station to classic rock or adult contemporary if they're in the car with me.My secret,or not so secret,when the kids go to school and I'm alone,I crank up the metal and do my chores,don't hear the phone ringing.Love it.
