I live in NY too. I break their hands. How do I know if they are panhandlers or robbers? It's tough these days with the economy, but I do not allow anyone into my personal space unless invited.

Pan handling is big business. These people can make $20 to $100 an hour and more...just for the asking. Why should they be embarrased when they are using people as fools.
