I think people post nasty comment because they are unhappy and do not feel sexy themselves. If that is your picture I think you are So Sexy :) Do not let media control your thoughts. MEDIA told you poster number 2 that it's bad to be fat..if nobody ever told you that or expressed that feeeeling to you I doubt you would see it that way. it's not bad just diffrent.

To the above post- you have a problem. You don't see what is really in the mirror. I used to be that way. I was the same size only 5'6". Now I'm almost 200lbs. I know I'm fat, but I felt fatter at 130. I was younger and cared what other people thought. Now like the OP, I only care about what I think. I think the OP is a great to have such a high self esteem!!

If it's any consolation (and it probably won't be), I lost 75 lbs. through exercise and eating changes alone (no surgery) and got to a point where I looked good in a bikini. It took about 2.5 years. And thank God, I have a reasonably pretty face (not going to appear on any magazine covers, but how many women would?).
But guys all want women in their twenties (I am not joking, even guys in their freakin' FIFTIES with less education than I have, who earn HALF of what I do want to date women who are 27!).
It sounds as though, regardless of what you perceive as a weight issue, that you are enjoying a far more rewarding romantic life than I am.
It's much easier to say than to do, but we'd all be happier if we didn't internalize society's stupid values.
