Wow thank you for serving our country. It is so sad and unfortunate that we choose not to take better care of the very people that make life possible for is here in the United States...I wish you luck and peace...you deserve it!

It deeply disturbs me when people use the term "serving our country" when trying to comfort someone who feels like shit for taking innocent lives of others who were just "serving" their country. Are we still so willfully blind to not see that we are serving no country, no people, and no soul by perpetuating this illusion; but instead are feeding the hatred that will surely damn us all! War is not the answer - only love can conquer hate. That is why the poster is still struggling with this - it is against our TRUE nature to commit these acts, regardless of the so-called "reasons" why we justify committing them. Someday, hopefully, we will evolve to the heights to see this simple answer so clearly that we may look back in amazement at how we could have ever been so foolish...

Thank you for risking your life for me and my familyI I can even imagine what you have been through and honestly, I don't want to. I could never do what you have done, from basic training to combat. I guess that makes me selfish but, with that being said, it makes me admire and appreciate people like you to the highest extent. You have given "us" the greatest gift and I hope that you can find peace yourself. Good luck to you!!!

It may be awhile yet before you can stop unloading. If you dwell on it, it will never go away. Try to think of fun positive light things, condition your mind to see a childs smiling face whenever tou think of these things. Thank you for serving. Thank you for being there. I also gave 6 years to my country.
