My husband, brother, father (deceased), and uncle have or are still serving.....Thank you from someone who knows....please talk to someone anyone...keeping in doesn't make it better! I can't say I know what you are going thru but know back home in the us we have yellow ribbons around rees we have magnets on our cars -support our troops we have parades and prayer services you and your fellow battle buddies are in our hearts thank you for defending our freedom

Though a part of you is lost when you lose someone close you are not dead...not unless you give in to the pain as I almost did. No It wasn't in combat in my case...it was holding my wife to be...helpless to save her as she and our unborn child died in my arms. Know above all else YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

I have loved and lived with a Vietnam Veteran for 25 years. I know what you are going through. He visits with a group every week to vent his anger and frustrations and it has helped. Please find one and talk it out. He held it in for years and nearly cost him everything. God be with you and thank you for all you suffered for our countries freedom.

I've been there, Brother Soldier. It's hard, but it isn't impossible. You're not dead inside, you just have your emotions locked up in a safe place. They'll come out when you're ready, so you can deal with them, one by one. Stand strong. It gets better.

I am in the military as well and its nice to hear all the nice stuff. I know we feel like in uniform we cant show emotion cuz thats what we are trained to do but its okay to ask for help.. i am sorry
